Hellbrunn Palace

Palacio Hellbrunn
Hellbrunn Palace (Fürstenweg 37, 5020 Salzburg, Austria) — this palace is an early Baroque villa of palatial size, near Morzg, a southern district of Salzburg. It was built in 1613–19 by Markus Sittikus von Hohenems, Prince-Archbishop of Salzburg, and named for the “clear spring” that supplied it. The Prince Archbishop commissioned Italian architect, Santino Solari, to complete the palace. He ended up creating one of the most magnificent Late Renaissance buildings north of the Alps. As you visit the permanent exhibition located there, you will be able to stroll through its rooms and learn more about Hellbrunn’s colorful history.
Admission: €12.50 (adult), €8.00 (students ages 19-26), €5.50 (children ages 4-18), €26.50 (family: 2 adults & 1 child). Hours vary. See the Hellbrunn website for an updated schedule: www.hellbrunn.at/en/
